Emotional Freedom Techniques UK, Edinburgh Tel: 0131 339 6979 4 March, 2010 Although EFT is now recognised in some areas of general health practice it should still be regarded as a complementary therapy. If in doubt consult a physician.
EFT UK has already visited several secondary, primary and special schools either working with staff or giving talks and demonstrations to students. It is already in place for staff and students in a department in an Edinburgh High School and similarly in a school near Aberdeen. In January 2009 EFT UK demonstrated the basics to a group of 55 specialist music teachers. With exams looming their new skill could act as first-aid to many students whose recitals could be marred by an attack of nerves. Click here for two valuable testimonials from amateur musicians who, with EFT, released their blocks to performing well in just a few minutes. In September 2009 EFT UK demonstrated the power of EFT at the annual conference of the Scottish Association for Music Education in Stirling. We feel it is vital that students, even from a young age, grow up with a knowledge of EFT as this could have very positive, far-reaching effects on our society. The immediate benefits are listed below: * Higher student test scores * Lower class disruptions * Enhanced learning environment * Less bullying, violence and truanting * Lower stress for teachers * Less sick time
We run INSET workshops and will demonstrate to parent groups after school. We also accept referrals from schools and will work with any excluded or troubled pupil. If any teacher or educationalist reading this is interested in finding out more please drop us a line through the contact page.
